LaKeyah Scales

Associate Attorney

Lakeyah, a Chicago native, is a recent graduate of DePaul University College of Law. During her tenure at DePaul, LaKeyah served as a Teaching Assistant for the Family Law Course, a research assistant for Professor Roberta Kwall, a 711-student attorney in the Family Law Clinic, and the Managing Editor of the DePaul Journal for Social Justice. Additionally, LaKeyah is 2019-2020 a recipient of the Schiller Ducanto and Fleck Family Law Fellowship, and a 2022 Cook County Bar Association Foundation Scholarship. Prior to law school, LaKeyah received a Master of Jurisprudence in Child and Family Law from DePaul College of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and worked as a corporate litigation paralegal.
